Everything in your personalized stock briefing

5AM Scoop is a free daily stock market newsletter built around your watchlist. Every weekday at 5 AM, you get a briefing covering the stocks you own or follow — with prices, market context, and AI-researched summaries for every security that moved.

Your stocks, your briefing

Your briefing is built from your watchlist. Add up to 15 stocks and ETFs from over 10,000 securities on Tradegate Exchange, including DAX, MDAX, and international markets. Every morning, your briefing covers exactly those securities and nothing else.

Three sections, one morning read

  • Market editorialA short read that connects the dots: what moved in global markets overnight and why — from central bank decisions and economic data to geopolitical events and sector trends. Covers World, European, and Emerging Market indices. Written fresh each morning, with cited sources.

  • Your watchlistEvery stock and ETF you follow, with the latest price and 1-day and 5-day change. Each security that moved comes with an AI-researched summary explaining why — what happened in the news and what it means for that specific stock.

  • Story of the dayA full article on the top financial story of the day: background, context, and what to watch next. Sourced from global financial news, with citations. The same story never appears on consecutive days.

On Saturdays, an optional weekly recap edition covers the week's key market movements. You can opt in from the preferences page.

Summaries that explain the move

For every security on your watchlist that moved, we research the relevant financial news, cross-reference it with the price change, and write a summary in plain language explaining why. If a stock barely moved and no meaningful news drove it, we skip the summary — because there is nothing useful to say.

All summaries are AI-researched and written for a non-specialist reader: no unexplained jargon, no analyst speak. Think of it as a knowledgeable friend giving you a quick morning briefing.

In your inbox at 5 AM

Your briefing arrives every weekday at 5 AM in your timezone — before the European and US markets open. Read it over coffee, before the day starts.

Delivery time adapts to the timezone you set in your preferences. The briefing is available in English and German — switch at any time from the preferences page.
